This coffee from Finca Agua Sarca features rich, fruity flavors with notes reminiscent of spiced sangria and dark cherry. Located in Dipilto, Nueva Segovia, Nicaragua, the farm has been managed by Isacio Javier Albir Vílchez for over 30 years, a legacy handed down through his family. Grown at an altitude of 1,200 - 1,400 meters, these Yellow Catuai beans are processed using an anaerobic natural method, enhancing their deep, complex fruitiness. It’s a straightforward, flavor-packed cup that showcases the meticulous cultivation and processing practices at the farm.

The farm employs 25 permanent workers, but during the harvest and collection months, which range from November to March, the number of workers increases to 85. Agua Sarca covers an impressive 76 hectares with an average yield of 18 quintals of cherry per hectare. A variety of coffee cultivars are grown on this farm: Caturra, Yellow Catuaí, Red Catuaí, Maracaturra, Ovata, Parainema, Marcelleza, and Geisha. These varieties are cultivated at altitudes ranging between 1200 and 1400 meters on sandy loam soil.
