Women's Crown   Rwanda
JUICY & VIBRANT
Tastes Like:
Green Apple, Brown Sugar + Pink Grapefruit.
This special lot from Gasharu Washing Station, known as "Women's Crown," is produced and processed entirely by women, celebrating their key role in Rwandan society. The cherries are pulped, fermented for 12 hours, then go through an extra 8 hours of anaerobic fermentation for added depth. Grown in the Nyamasheke District near Lake Kivu, this Bourbon varietal thrives in the perfect combo of rich soil, high altitude, and ideal climate, resulting in a vibrant, flavorful cup. Gasharu Coffee, the producer behind this exceptional lot, has been honing its craft since 1976, blending tradition with the dedication of the women who make this coffee truly special.
