From Hard Lines
The coffee comes from small scale farmers in the village of Benti Nenka. Each stage of its production makes a significant contribution to it’s quality. The coffee grows at elevations between 2000 and 2300 M.A.S.L. High elevations tend to produce more acidity and complexity as the growth of the cherry is slowed. Once the cherries ripen, they are meticulously handpicked and dried in the sun. Finally they are rested for a several weeks in cool storage boxes. This resting period allows even more flavours to develop. The result is one outstanding cup of coffee.
