A northern coffee powerhouse based in Leeds. Hols and Krag, co-founders of North Star, first came to coffee from an academic standpoint, conducting research into how the Fairtrade model has impacted smallholder farming communities. North Star put particular emphasis on building relationships with their valued network of coffee producing partners and that commitment shines through right to the end of the coffee journey; beans roasted with intuition and expertise. Their commitment to quality and ethics has shaped their entire business since day one; there are few more knowledgeable or passionate about supply chains than these guys. Coffee nerds with big hearts. We love it.
