From Harmony Coffee Roasters
This decaf coffee is processed with natural Ethyl Acetate (E.A.), derived from sugarcane fermentation. Fresh beans are first steamed to open pores, then soaked in a cold E.A. solution, allowing it to bind with and remove caffeine, reducing content to below 0.1%. Afterward, the beans are steamed again to remove any E.A. residue before being dried.
