Introducing a meticulously crafted lot from the harmonious community of Puyango in South Ecuador. This washed coffee hails from hand-harvested cherries procured from small 15-hectare farms. Here, coffee growing is intermingled with other crops in a lush setting fed by the Lagunas de Saraguallas. This results in a bean that encapsulates the essence of its rich, biodiverse environment. The coffee undergoes a precise fermentation process lasting between 24 to 72 hours, before being gently washed and dried on raised beds and covered patios, ensuring that each sip conveys its uniquely sweet and rich quality.

Coffee is harvested by hand, and processed on the farms at wet mills. Post sorting, coffee is fermented for between 24 and 72 hours and then washed twice before being dried for up to 18 days on parabolic covered patios and raised beds. Parchment is transferred to the purchasing station to undergo quality and sensory evaluation. This station is run by Carvela, a coffee export company who pride themselves on nurturing longstanding and equitable relationships in Latin America.
